** The Rebel ****
👉 The poem describes the character of a rebel, a person who does not confirm to the norms of society.
The rebel is described as a person who would contradict others in order to be different.
when everybody has short hair,
the rebel lets his hair grow long.
when everybody has long hair,
the rebel cuts his hair short.
👉 When everyone keeps short hair the rebel allows his hair to grow long.
when he sees people growing their hair long he would end up cutting his hair short.
when everybody talks during the lesson,
the rebel dosen't say a word.
when nobody talks during the lesson,
the rebel creates a disturbance.
👉 When everybody talk during the lesson, the rebel suddenly finds his silence more valuable and he remains silent.
when he sees that everybody else has become quiet, he cannot help but creates disturbance by talking loudly.
when everybody wears a uniform,
the rebel dresses in fantastic clothes.
when everybody wears fantastic clothes,
the rebel dresses soberly.
👉 The rebel would wear colourful clothes, when everybody else is dressed up in a uniform.
When everybody wears colourful clothes, the rebel would be unable to control his urge to wear the uniform.
when everybody is praising the sun,
the rebel remarks on the need for rain.
when everybody greeting the rain,
the rebel regrets the absence of sun.
👉 When everyone praises the sun, the rebel says that the sun is not required and there is need for rain.
when everybody would be welcoming the rains, the rebel would appreciate the sun.
when everybody goes to the meeting,
the rebel stays at home and reads a book.
when everybody stays at home and reads a book,
the rebel goes to the meeting.
👉 When others are going for a meeting the rebel would stay at home and read a book.
when everybody stays at home and read a book, the rebel would go for meeting.
when everybody says "Yes Please,"
the rebel says "No Thank you."
when everybody says " No Thank you,"
the rebel says "Yes Please."
👉 When everybody says yes for something the rebels would say no thank you.
when everybody says no, the rebel would says yes.
it is very good that we have rebels,
you may not find it very good to be ours.
👉 It is very good that we have rebels in the society, but it is not good to become a rebel because they are not accepted by the society.
if we already have the rebels we should tolerate them, without them life will become monotonous and dull.
